Ok so lately I have been obsessed with youtube and I have certain people I watch who have millions of hits and it seriously makes me want to go get a camera and start shooting (not litterally bang bang!) myself and friends. Now I think I want to start my own show like some of these people because I'm very opinionated and funny at times. I really would like to give advice and tips and help people. I like to learn of other people's perspectives. I kind of want the fame that comes along with it even though I know it's kind of silly. What do you guys think?

    Try it out, don't expect much from it. Learn on how to improve and you should get followers and if you're good enough you will get that bit of glory.

      Awwwwww. Don't worry you could be like me someday and become manager after 5 years!!! LOL. Yea I already got it lined up to put this one woman who works there in my videos. She is 45 I think and sings (terrible I might add) and dances alot and just acts crazy all the time. As soon as I get some money together I'll get a flip camera and it will be on!!!

    and i forgot to add, on youtube, i make money for the video's i post, because i refer people to another website, and that's the main reason i make my videos. Just find a site that focuses on referals, incorporate their prize system into your videos, and than you'll start getting free money. Not alot, but a good ammount, ive made over 200 dollars in amazon gift cards just from this referral site (haha bought a guitar, some mixed martial arts gloves, and a new pair of shoes :p)

    for every person with millions of hits, there are 2,000 that only have 500 views and get shot down and rated 1 star. I've been mildly successful (my most watched vid got 4,500 hits in the first month, its only been up for a month so far). But I do guitar tutorials, which helps people learn to play guitar, and so i have a small fan base off of that (i think i have like 15 subscribers who comment on all my videos haha), but i will never be as big as big name youtube people.

    Its hard, it might prove to just be a waste of time, you have to have something genuinely interesting other people don't have, so focus on a specific topic, and you also have to have good video editing skills or be epicly funny.
