To make sure I do at least one thing in my life to make this hell hole we call Earth a better place.
To make a real positive change in the lives of as many people as possible. I just like making people happy. I'd hate to live a life when I never got to help anybody. It makes me feel all warm and happy, and obviously it makes other people happy as well.
I don't want fame, money or sex (although those things are great), I just want to make people happier, however I can. If I had too much money I'd give it away to people who needed it, and if I had fame I would use it to positively assert my influence.
just to be happy encompasses these:
having a family
doing a job that pays well
experiencing as many good things as possible
true love
knowledge
and helping others
these are what i believe.
your's may be different
but these are the things that make me happy
why limit yourself to one purpose? you live to raise your kid; your kid grows up: you have nothing to live for. you live to raise your kid and do your job; kid grows up: you have something to live for.
in my opinion, life is much more powerful than death. this is primarily the reason we all choose life. I see no reason for over-complicating it as most do. but plenty reason to put thought to it. only people who feel thier life is powerless seek death, but this is never true. ever. death is absolute zero. if your not dead, you are above death. however, there are creatures incapable of understanding anything even remotely similar to this. i've always wondered how countless species had the desire to support life without the intellect to value it. It seems impossible.
Knowledge. If you have enough of it, you can do anything.
But I also like joybird's answer. Knowledge is meaningless if you haven't used it to help others.
To help as many people as I can and to improve their lives as much as possible.

I plan on being my happiest and healthiest for as long as I live.
Almost invariably, the answer for most people would be some combination of the above. For me , it's a combination of two things (in no particular order):
- Doing the very best I can for my community/industry/family/loved ones
- Being happy (travelling, new experiences, meeting new people)
For me, true love is nowhere near the highest. It's a fantastic thing obviously and I would love to have that if possible, but if push comes to shove, it's not at the top of my list.
