Less than once a month DOESN´T count.

    I'm male and I doubt anybody knows the answer because women's sexuality is still suppressed and a percentage of women don't feel comfortable talking about masturbation.

    From personal experience of talking to close female friends and past relationships, though, I'd say it's more than 50%. I'd guess about 65%-75% but if the figure was higher, I wouldn't be in the slightest bit surprised.

    I'm an 18 yo female & I masturbate everyday sometimes a couple times a day. Even if I'm in a relationship I'll masturbate to orgasm before just thinking about having sex w him & I'll masturbate after thinking about how amazing it was! Masturbation is an unreal amazing part of life:)

      You are right - masturbation is an amazing part of life and it´s completely understandable that you enjoy your orgasms that way. Do you always experience orgasms with your partner as well? Which of them are better for you?

        I usually always experience orgasms with my boyfriend and they're great.. But I mean I guess it's true that nobody knows me like I do ;) they're usually much more intense when I'm alone. Another thing I love is masturbating in front of my boyfriend. His eyes watching me makes me so turned on& orgasm so much harder! & gets him ready for some action after;)

    Specify your parameters: what is "regularly"?

    You should have made a poll asking the female members to answer how often they "masturbate to orgasm" on a weekly or monthly basis, instead of asking people to guess what they think women are doing.

      I´m asking people to guess what they think women are doing because this is EXACTLY what I´m interested in. There are surveys - some of them using representative samples of female population in certain locations - which can provide information on how often women masturbate. However, it isn´t very common to ask people what they think about the issue although it´s a very interesting question (at least in my opinion). I realize that IIN can´t be regarded as a scientifically reliable source of data but that doesn´t mean that I can´t be interested in what people here think about the frequency of female masturbation...
      As for the word "regularly" - you are right that it´s quite vague. I thought about specifying the frequency but in the end I decided for the word "regularly" because my main intention was to point out that it should be a habit for that person. In addition, I decided to set a limit: "Less than once a month DOESN´T count. " - as you can see in my original question.

        Your poll results are very interesting, especially considering your limit of "less than once a month doesn't count".

        As of today,

        11 males guessed it would be under 60%
        whereas only 3 females guessed the same,

        8 males guessed it would be between 61-97%
        whereas 9 females guessed the same,

        and the strange part...

        4 males think it happens more than 98% of the time, but only 1 female agreed.

        Sorry, I thought you were going for something else entirely, I misunderstood the purpose of your poll. I mentioned changing it while it was still in moderation, in case you'd wanted to update it while you still had the chance. Sorry.
