    Your mother gave birth to you, raised you helped you through tough times and supported you until you could stand on your own two feet. You only get one. You can find another spouse and if you are having to choose between the two, dont choose the one who made you make the choice.

    When you get married your spouse becomes number one in that hierarchy, until they betray you in an unforgivable way; like beat you, cheat on you, abuse you, etc.

    I'd like to vote keep mum on behalf of my son BUT keep spouse on my own behalf as I couldn't stick my mum on a daily basis!
