Your friend is texting while driving..do you....

I usually roll down the passenger window and yell outside "HELP THIS GUY IS TEXTING WHILE DRIVING AND HE'S GONNA GET US KILLED AND I DON'T WANT TO DIE!! LADY, HELP! AWWWW LAWD WE ALL GONNA DIE WE ALL-" etc until either he stops texting or he turns on the window lock and rolls it up.

I dont have any freinds. forever alone.

I'd be pissed off, but I'd be nervous about screaming at them in case it made them drive off the road. For my own safety, I'd insist that they stop or let me get out of the car.

I would snatch the phone off them call them an idiot then ask them what they want typing. Ive had to do this before lol.

Maybe not 'scream,' but I'd definitely be harsh about it. Texting and driving is one of the stupidest things you can possibly do.

I scream at them severely! I will say "ARE YOU CRAZY WOMAN! GET OFF THAT CRACK! YOU TRYING TO KILL ME! LET ME OUT IF UR GONNA TEXT WHILE DRIVING FOOL!!!" but in a politely maniacal manner.

I would tell her to stop texting because it's stupid, after that if she does'nt lisen, well i'll just tell her to drop me off somewhere so she can kill herself.

I ask them, "Why are you doing such a stupid thing? You are endangering my life and sanity." Then I take their phone and I text for them, that way they can continue the conversation that must be worth dying over.

They're driving? I'm the passenger? Smack that phone out of their hands. Mine! I'll tell them the stupid text so I can type in their messages to send. There, done.

I was in this situation recently. I told him he shouldn't do it, and he stopped for a few minutes, but then started doing it again. I told him that he can put his own life at risk if he wants to, but that I wouldn't be his passenger again if he put mine at risk. I also said that it was unfair of him to criticize other drivers (he has major road rage) and then, hypocritically, to not consider their safety himself. He was sort of pissy with me for a bit, but he got over it. I hope he's stopped texting not only with me in the car, but all together while driving, but somehow, I doubt it.

Now, if only I could get him not to text while he's having a face-to-face conversation with me . . .

None of the above. I'd tell him, but not politely nor screaming, I'd say it in a tone like "hey, dude, come on, what the fuck?"

I tell them to stop doing it. If they don't, then I take away the phone. My girlfriend gets angry, when I take away her phone (when she is driving). But I don't care. Better not see who wrote what on facebook and get to our destination alive!
It's bad enough that she gets distracted without a phone. The last thing I need is her tweeting while crashing :D

I would personally probably do nothing really. However some people make me text back friends when they are driving. They say something like "Tell them I am driving and I will answer when I get home".

I really liked D:Just give them negative looks throughout the ride and hope they see.

i have a twin sister and we do everything all the time together and i always go to with her to drive in her car ! and she is always texting her beu and then we almost got into a car accident and i screamed at the TOP of MY LUNGS !

Simple, I wouldn't be in the car with them.

I usually say, "Put your fucking phone away you techno hippie, what do you think this is? Wall Street?"

Lol I scream at them, but it's just because I know that a lot of people crash while texting and I don't want to die and I don't want her to die either so I strike as soon as they do it

I would offer to send the text for them and remind them they could get a BIG FAT TICKET!

I repeat don't text and drive multiple times....if they don't stop I yell at them an insane amount until they do.
