I pushed my one brother out through a window because he was beating me to the top of our livingroom cushion mountain..

  • Oh, don't get me started. Even as a kid I was terrible to my brothers in unbelievably cunty ways.

I was one of two boys in my family and there was always rivalry between me and my brother.

I'm now a 30 year old man and we still get into these weird child/caveman like battles. Just last week, as soon as I walked into my brother's house. He grabbed me by the neck and tried to slam dunk me on the coffee table. I kicked him the nuts in retaliation. Meanwhile his wife asked me if I wanted tea.

I have three brothers and one sister growing up i was the alpha male and had to assert my dominance as older brother so i had to teach my lil bros right from wrong n if they went toe to toe with me i ended them with suplexs and guillotine choke outs later in life i was standing up for them and making sure noone messed with them its amazing how i could be wrestling with my little bros to the point of blood then after that be inside watching cartoons ah the good ol days

My brother stole my bike one time. I chased him, and when he rode by me in the opposite direction I grabbed one side of the handlebars so he went flying off of it. He chased me down right after...

He didn't steal my bike anymore after that though.

My sister 2 years older than me and my sister 5 year younger than me were my mothers favorites. But I don't think it bothered me much. I was a independent in thinking and doing at 17.

I'm a middle child, so felt rivalry with my sister for being the baby of the family and with my brother for being the oldest and a boy who didn't have to do any household chores, they were for girls.

My sister and I discovered as adults that we'd been envious of each other: she of me because she thought I was prettier and I was good at school work, me of her because I thought she was prettier and she was good at sports.

I don't know if it happens in families with parents who don't play favourites, but my parents certainly did, in lots of ways.

My older brother can do no wrong in our mother's eyes. I got blamed for everything! And my mom has always supported his every decision and coddled him. I guess firstborn are the favorite.

Never really was any competition, since my sister is older but acts like a (very spoilt) child, definitely some animosity for that reason, but it's also pretty depressing.
