I'd like you to describe your dream wedding! <3 Money is no object!

Include any details you like. You can talk about the person you want to marry - have you met them already, or even already married them? Whether you'd like to get married in a church, a registry office, or somewhere exciting like a beach. When you'd like to get married - the time of year and the time in your life. The vows, the clothes, the cake etc. Maybe you would draw from other cultural traditions that I haven't mentioned at all. Maybe you can see yourself getting drunk and marrying a Las Vegas escort. Any details of the ceremony at all - get creative :)

Maybe you don't ever want to get married, or maybe you would be happy to get married but don't care what the wedding looks like. That's cool - you can write about your thoughts, if you like :)

    Get married in Vegas to someone I've been with for a couple of years. Likely while drunk. Some spur of the moment shit, before I change my mind.

    I don't need a huge group of people seeing me throw my life away for a life of tiring child rearing, working 40-60 hours a week for a man who comes home from a six hour shift and sits down to a beer complaining about his day while I'm running on 3 hours of sleep in 4 days and am cleaning the house and caring for our kids just after getting off work.

    ...You see why I'm gonna need to be drunk to do this?

    Somewhere outside, small gathering of friends and family, barefoot, no fuss dress, natural hair and makeup, and flowers everywhere. Sometime in fall around my birthday.

    Vampire wedding. A small drop of blood from each of us into a small container that represents our marriage. If the container is not broken and the blood is not still, then out marriage is still lasting. Just like the characters in my novel.

    We got married this April at Devil's Bridge, in Antigua, West Indies. It is a rock bridge-like structure on the NE coast overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It was a beautiful day with blue skies speckled with puffy white trade wind clouds and a light easterly breeze. It was so clear it seemed as though, if you looked really hard, you could see England across the sea. The ocean was an azure blue and seemed to have millions of diamonds twinkling on the surface. Just a few close friends and family; what more could a couple in love want?
    Then we returned to our life of tedious drudgery (NOT) aboard our boat. See my profile pic.

        Of course not, silly. My wife doesn't even own a pair of heels (or nylons), and other than one "lil black dress" she doesn't own any dresses. We had to shop for one in St. John's, finding a very nice, very, very non traditional one. Our only concession to tradition was, "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue". And of course, a reverend.
