The poll is to state about how much you drink, rough estimate.

I don't judge or look down at anyone based on the amount of alcohol they consume, but am genuinely curious on the numbers.

I feel the 18-24 demographic consumes weekly or every few days, correct me if I'm wrong.

P.S. 18 is legal in most countries, not sure if this is an american website but answer per your legal drinking age.

On special occasions only ( few times a year ) 41

    Twice a week, on Friday (today!) and Saturday. I only have a few on Friday and regularly get drunk on Saturday, but some weekends I don't drink at all.

            No...canned beer is good too. I just have to pour it into a glass before I drink it. The metal can on my lips adds a metallic taste that really doesn't compliment the taste of beer.

              No doubt. I have a litre glass I use to drink beer from tall cans. I usually get 750ml tallcans and pour them into the glass with a ton of head.

    I drink like a viking, a roman and atilla the hun all rolled into one. Just on special occasions, such as burning a village, pillaging an enemy's castle or just after murdering a foe. Oh the spoils of war!

    I have both a kidney and bladder condition that I was born with. I feel that if I begin to smoke OR drink at all, it will make my condition worse than what it is. So, I just don't drink. Never have, and I hope I never will.

    I'm in the US, and an adult (19), I choose to drink about once a week, mostly whiskey, right now.

    I paid attention in civics class, and can and will interpret my rights and responsibilities objectively and for myself as a citizen.

    It is clearly my right to consume alcohol in as much as I do not hurt others by my actions, which includes harming myself, as I am a part of society.

    Drinking a little alcohol, even not 'normally thought of as healthy' kinds, like bourbon or whiskey, is actually healthier than both over-drinking AND abstinence from alcohol.

    Plus, for a crude argument: At my age I can smoke, I can fuck, and I can vote. My government is retarded if it thinks I shouldn't be able to drink.

      Agreed on the age laws in your country. The only countries that have 21+ drinking age are Arab because it is part of their culture and religion to not drink.

      As for your assessment of drinking small amounts every day as healthy, this is too true. Just that in my line of work I can get in hefty trouble if I drink one shot and go to work and they do a blood test, etc.

    At least every other week I drink, I don't always get DRUNK though, plus I smoke weed more then I drink I think that's my real problem.

    About once every two weeks.

    I guess I kind of drink weekly. I enjoy my wines. But I do like some beers too and I like mixed drinks also. Only once in a while I'll go to a party too. I really don't like getting drunk one bit, but I don't mind getting a buzz.

    Usually a few times a week, with occasional long periods off. And not very heavily either, an average night may see me take a few shots and a mixed drink or two.

    At the weekend I turn into a binge drinking lout, I without fail go out every Saturday night and most Fridays. Like tonight I'm going to watch a band called the duke spirit so I will be ratted before I even get to where they are playing.

    I used to throw a few shots back once every other month or two.

    But now I only drink on special occasions. I tried to get into drinking but I don't like being drunk. Makes me feel weird and slightly retarded.
