Is it normal that i think the younger generation is getting stupider? I am 28 and i know the younger generation is getting smarter about technology but they just seem to be getting dumber about almost everthing else amd have no common sense anymore and seem to be getting more self absorbed.
I am 20 and I hate my generation, its so bad to the point where I isolate myself from them. They are reckless and self-centered. All they do is drink, have sex, and smoke. I hate it.
LOL it has nothing to do with generation, it has everything to do with age. All young kids are going to look "stupid" to older people. Look at the 60's I'm sure older people were saying the same thing you are right now about the new generation (minus the technology of course). They'll calm down with age and experience.
Its true. Technology is supposed to make us smarter but these days it is making kids lazier and stuipeder as all they want to do is stuff up and joke around
I think it's normal to be judgmental, given the opinionated crap I see here.
Has anyone noticed how young lads dress and act like girls. Im 29 and cant understand why they act so mincey.
I'm in my late teens and I have noticed this. My peers and people younger than them just don't seem to think! They're good with technology but when it comes to "deeper and moralistic things" they often seem to fall short. I know that not everyone one is like this. I've experienced different things so it seems my grasp on intelligent and moralistic actions is stronger and my use with technology is a bit weaker. I don't know, perhaps society is to blame or perhaps it's something else? Why is it that this generation is so different from the "younger" generations that came before them?

every generation has a stupidity phase...people make mistakes...a decent portion of them growing up and moving on....
So judegmental. What if I was like everyone over 25 are stubborn, lazy assholes? Then I'd be in the wrong. Keep in mind its the older generation thats raised/raising us so it isn't just our fault. There are some good hearted, intelligent, sophisticated teenagers out there.
