What is the biggest secret that you hold from your family?

I've contemplated suicide. But a part of me thinks that they already know that, and they just think that because I'm still alive that I'm alright. Although I actually am doing well now, but that's a recent thing. Also, I understand that my Dad and brother have their own problems so they don't have to spend their time worrying, or caring, about mines.
I'm glad you're doing well now. You seem to have gained so much more positivity about yourself in the last year or so :)
Yeah thanks. I actually have. I mean I'm out of high school and all the judgement and stuff have faded away. Like I could be my own person now. I would attribute some of that positivity to this website. I see a lot of misanthropic posts but I also see a lot more commentators who see life in a better way. If you look at the world in a bad light well then you're not going to have a good life. Also, I mean like when you've been to that point, seeing life like a black void and burden, you can only go up from there. There's a lot of beauty in this world and I have yet to experience a lot of them. I want to live and I want to see more of this world. Life is not so bad :)

When you've watched videos showing small African villagers smiling and showing joy by catching a few small fish, only knowing it will barely get them through the day, you realize that suicide is a weak stunt for pussies who cry about their 1st world problems. I've thought about suicide, too. But I was a pussy, I still am. And it'd only be pathetic considering there are tons of suffering people who still try to make a smile every day.
I wouldn't feel the need to tell them any of those things. My family are terrible gossips. If they're going to talk about me behind my back I'd rather they made shit up.

We talk about things like politics and religion a bit and they already know of some of my sordid affairs but I could never tell my parents I had an abortion. I think it would change things in an irreperable way and I was a grown woman at the time so it's none of their business anyway. Best they don't know.
Hmm. I've never told anyone that I'm bicurious, but I don't consider that a "big secret" because it's such a small part of my personality. I've never talked to them about sex at all, really, so maybe it is something sex related. My family knows most other things about me.
I can always tell my family everything, they're the most awesome people I know. Always very understanding and supportive, whatever I may have done (and trust me, I did a lot of things).
Like for example when I was 12 I had my first boyfriend. We weren't sexually active yet (that only happened a year later), but they liked it immediately and the first thing they did was give me a pack of condoms to carry with me for if we wanted to do it. I've heard different stories, but my parents aren't like that.
That I want to die because life is shit. Or that I am a slurgin, but Im not so, phew.
I wouldn't want to tell them about my sex life and all my rule 34. Just the idea of having them know about any of that grosses me out.

Which family? Main family (boyfriend & daughter), Immediate family or in-laws? I'm keeping something different from all of them, except my boyfriend who knows almost everything about me and what he doesn't know he will in time. Drugs and sexual past mostly.
