You think some guys have something similar to a period, emotion-wise?

Some guys I've been with they seem almost like they have PMS or something. And I'm not being a bitch by saying that, I actually think it's pretty cool when guys show their emotions.

Another weird thing I wonder about. If you say you have severe mood swings, and you're a man, people could suggest you have Bipolar disorder. But if you say you're a woman, they just say "ohh that's normal for your period". I know scientifically BPD is a lot worse than PMS but it just seems like there is no male equivalent to severe PMS/PMDD other than BPD.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I was just wondering... guys do you notices you have stronger emotions at different periods of the time/month?

I'm a guy and I feel like that sometimes 4

A recent TV doco had a lot of evidence about chemicals and plastics that mimic female hormones and therefore unbalance male hormones

Men can have what's called Irritable Male Syndrome (IMS), heheh, pretty bad name for it. It's pretty common at any age and gets more pronounced as a guy hits middle age. IMS is not well understood, but studies show a correlation between onset and lowered testosterone. A guy's testosterone levels vary day-to-day, hour-to-hour, and within an hour. It's commonly lower in the morning (more chance of IMS) and higher later in the day (less or no IMS). But there is no monthly cycle, like with PMS. There are many apparent causes of lowered testosterone, with stress being near the top of most researchers list for younger guys, and aging for older guys.

There is no male equivalent, because men don't have menstruation cycles.
