Okay, with a (more current) map of England, I have narrowed down the answers again. Seeing as Norfolk was wrong (or at least I assumed that since bugsforbreakfast doesn't have Gold), you probably live in either Lincolnshire, Suffolk, Essex, or Hertfordshire.

Because you never did answer my question about whether the list I made last time had the correct county in there, I am going to assume that you didn't answer cause the next guess would be to easy.

I'll guess, and I'll try and have some logic behind it.

The most populous county is, unsurprisingly, Greater London. I'll discount that though, because Londoners tend to think more about their city or borough rather than county. Also, London is far too obvious.

The second most populous is the West Midlands, but the same logic applies as it would for London; there are a number of large cities in the West Midlands so I'd be surprised if you thought to ask about your county as opposed to your city.

The third most populous is Greater Manchester. We've had our fill of Mancunians here though, so I'll discount this one. I know probability doesn't work like that, but whatever.

The fourth most populous is the one which I'll go for: West Yorkshire. We seem to have more northerners than southerners on IIN, and I can't think of a reason to discount West Yorkshire.

I wanted to choose Gloucestershire because that's where I'm from, but the odds are too short.

Wow. Congratulations. I hope you buy something nice for yourself too. If you're well-known on the site then chances are we know each other. Of the English people, I know many of their counties of residence. What I don't know is which one of you would buy a scratchy. Although I do have a bit of insight, I'm not going to ruin it for everyone else just yet. I may come back and have a guess whenever everyone else has had a go, though. If I win, can you drop me an email and I'll nominate someone in private that I'd like to see the Gold go to?
