That happens to me too. Especially in the hot weather. Sometimes when I get up from a sitting position I get dizzy and lose my vision for about a second or two.

I get periods of weakness. Sometimes, I get it from stretching and other I could just be standing. Lately when I get them, I lose most control and nearly blackout/fall down The last few times, I've seen colours when getting it. I don't think it's normal. You might want to see a doctor.

Its normal to have that happen with low blood pressure, I have had it happen the best thing to do is point your head to the floor, its caused by getting up and losing all the blood in your head, if you put you head between your legs it reverses the process.

It's normal, it's called fainting people, it happens if it's too hot and your dehydrated, things like that. It's normal it's happened to me a couple times when it's too hot or if I'm too tired.

Maybe you should include some more salt in your diet...I have this too, where if I stand up too fast or make a quick movement, my vision will go black or splotchy and I'll lose my balance (though I can't say I've ever "passed out"). Not normal, but it seems many people experience this.

Well I'm not sure what I had but I think I might have passed out. Ok so I was walking into this kitchen and it was really slippy so I sorta slipped on my bum and some people helped me up and I was just standing there and my hands felt tingly and I had a really sore head and next thing I knew I was seeing everything black and there were light coloured spots and I was feeling all warm and my head and hands didn't hurt and I just felt safe and all warm and tingly inside and then it was like I transported somewhere and suddenly I was back and I was being lifted somewhere and I had no recognition of what had happened and then I started to cry but not because of the pain but because I wanted to go back to the tingly warm feeling and the fact that I didn't remember anything..
But I think that what you had is pretty normal and johnoo1 sounds just about right
