So I was driving the other day and I see this old man (probably 70) in a red speedo...nuthin else....riding a bike while pulling a little red wagon behind him. Wtf is wrong with old ppl...the vibe I got from this guy was: come on children ride in my wagon, it's ok you don't need clothes...again WTF is wrong with old ppl that wanna let it all flap in the wind
IMO, when I get that old I want to live my life as "WTF, why not!" a lifetime of people telling you how to think, dress, behave, etc.. and you just get fed up. Good for him.
Well think about it- when your close to on your way out- I would start doin more shit that made me feel less there, I mean fuck it im over 75, bottom line is the wrong with old people is "fuck it, im over 75"
You know what? You survive that long and I think you're entitled to do whatever the hell you want (within reason, of course).
The older you get the less fucks you have to give. Grow old disgracefully, it's the only way.
BTW In Australia which is where I am it's very normal for old people and young people to walk around in speedos in summer. They are pretty much a national icon here. I wear a pair myself but only a the beach. However I often see older men jogging in them.
Because there comes a time in your life when you no longer care what anyone thinks about you. Not trying to pickup women, make an impression with a boss or client, impress friends or neighbors or not embarrass family. Consider all the things you've wanted to do, dreamed of doing but thought better of. I read last year there was a nude cruise to the Caribbean, 2500 people, average age 62, why, because they've always wanted to and no longer care what kids like you have to think about it!
There's definitely an age where you can't be a kid anymore. Some people can't grasp the thought they're old and break down because the life they had slipped away too quickly. You'll be the same way. Sorry, but it's normal. Not great at all, but normal.
I think you'll find most "old people" do not ride around on their bikes wearing nothing but speedos. I'll leave it to a professional to diagnose that dude however..
Gross. They often dress that way at water parks and public beaches too...
He just doesn't care what people think. He feels comfortable in that speedo. Really, I just laugh at that stuff, cause if you take shit to seriously your gonna have stroke.
