Cullen from twilight?
My friends kids all think they're gonna live forever, but that they can die if they make bad choices in life. So, they pretty much think they'll be around until the end of time. Is this a healthy mentality or not? They're both 7 btw. IIN?
The bigger problem here is that two seven year olds are influenced by twilight, god have mercy on thier poor little souls.
Hey Christianity teaches the same thing, this fantasy is no less valid. If it makes them happy go for it.
Its normal for kids to believe crazy stories, But it is Not normal for the mom to teach her kids that. She needs a little help.
I had a full understanding of the concept of death by my 5 birthday. Do your children a favour and tell them the truth, they'll be able to deal with the hardships of life with more consideration with that type of knowledge beside them. Optimism always ends in tragedy.

Make sure you're kids become smart and all you have to do is read them palaeontology books! They WILL be smart
Twilight sucks ass. and you don't teach your kids stupid shit. lol that's kinda like teaching them to ride a bike without peddles. it's just not right lol
There's 2 things wrong with this story 1) is that twilight is still the most gayest movie in existence and 2) they're 7, jeez, when I was 7 I thought drinking radiation would turn me into a mutant like Wolverine. Hence the 2 weeks in hospital. True story

Actually I think it gets even worse than that.
You are telling them what to choose based on your judgment.And as soon as they start doing something different from what they are being told,and notice it doesn't really hurt them,it will become a game.
So they will start taking risks without evaluating danger.And they will get hurt.Then you'll be the one feeling guilty.The thought of death or pain is the only deterrent making a kid take his chances after careful evaluation of the risk involved.Or decide not to take the risk,evaluate further,if there is time left,and eventually resolve themselves. For example.
They are being told that smoking is bad for their health.They know it's something they are not supposed to do in order to live "forever".(As long as possible) then they see another kid doing it and still looking good,and without a worry about "eternal life".So they start doing it thinking:if it doesn't harm him,why should it harm me?It's like telling to a child he has super powers and can fly.Then he ends up defenestrating himself.Just tell them the truth!Is that so hard? It's simple: Kids.
One day you will die.That day can be postponed or anticipated.You have to learn how to postpone it by any means necessary.Avoiding what can do you harm and doing what keeps you healthy,safe and in good shape. Then you start enumerating the good things and the bad things.. the things pushing them towards death,and those keeping them alive and doing well.For example:You take an orange and say;This orange contains vitamins C,It's good for you and prolongs your life. This is a cigarette.This cigarette is not good for you and shortens your lifespan. Then you keep teaching them daily.Adding the reasons why that particular thing is good or bad. While you are doing this,you can start teaching them some anatomy,this is a liver,it does this, those are the kidneys they do that,this is the heart and blabla. But sadly..I think now they like the thought of being "immortal" way too much to find that kind of activity interesting or funny.So,Your loss.
They are so young kids think all kinds of stuff like that Santa is real and so on. They will grow out of it it's fine
you sick fck! thats really dangerous theyll do shit and get hurt and it will be your fault coz you taught them wrong, its not fair to them.
they are just kids, what is the problem here. why dont you just let them be kids.
