I've had this idea for a while. Whether I'd ACTUALLY do it, I don't know, I seriously doubt it, but I so enjoy thinking about it.

I create a 'stage' of sorts in my basement. Perhaps it's made to resemble the interior of an alien spacecraft. Or maybe a third-world prison. Maybe a dirty, dingy stateroom in a creaking ship. The appropriate sounds will be piped in via a hidden sound system.

I invite a friend over. I get them completely drunk. I get them down to the basement and put them into the staged area. Proceed to watch the fun unfold when they wake up.

Now, I know, technically a person could get into big trouble doing something like this. Mind you, I said it was fun to think about, I PROBABLY would never actually DO it. But come on, how funny would that be?

    I know it's not universally popular but I love practical jokes. The bigger, the better. One of Britain's best known practical jokers actually did fake an alien landing and filmed it. The funniest part was when the woman asked the "alien" whether it would like a cup of tea.

    OMG! I had the same idea for a Saw set up. You know, putting someone in some sort of trap and recording me going "I want to play a game" xD There must be something wrong with us...

    While it does sound demented it sounds like a funny prank. It also would be "false imprisonment" I believe. I see how someone would find this funny though.

    It would be absolutely hilarious to watch them after they wake up. (I would love to see the video...)

    But I see a serious moral issue with the "I get them completely drunk" part.

    Maybe better to prank a heavy sleeper (if you can move the body gently enough to not wake the victim) - No wrongdoing on your part.

    However, if your friend passes out in a bar of his own doing...
