Well this is my idea for my drama assessment. We have to make a movie trailer so obviously we have to come up with a movie. I just want to see if its a good idea. It would be made as a comedy. (Its a bit immature but we are only 9th graders so its funny for us)

There is a young girl and since the age she could she has always wanted to be a boy. She feels like a man trapped in a woman's body. Her parents agree that she can dress and act like a boy but can not have any operations until she is 18. So as he grows up every one thinks he is a boy. Only his parents know. Then one night while drunk at a costume party he has sex with a guy and gets pregnant. The story is about how people start finding out about him being a guy and also dealing with teenage pregnancy.

    Sounds along the same lines as a film called boys dont cry although its not a comedy.

    in my perspective, (yes, I realise not every one cares what I think) this would be a good movie to show people how sex change could be good or bad.
    but you need a motive of some sort. (I"m no good at motives so I don't think I should give you any ideas) any way. I like it. go for it man.

    Yes, it's a very original idea. I think it would work better as a comedy/drama though, the indie kids would love that.

    i will wait until it comes out on dvd and watch it.
    but it does not sound like my kind of movie.

    Sound gross and disgusting, and like alot of the movies they are showing now-a-days at the cinemas. Along with ones dealing with death and violence. It would be totally sickning and borting to me.

    As far as I know, that's a completely original idea (quite a compliment, as many in Hollywood seem incapable of this). I think it'll be a challenge to get humour out of it while still staying sensitive about the issues but, as a concept, I'm quite impressed. Shame we'll never get to see what you come up with.
