Imagine you were somehow only given two choices. These choices would be to have no social life at all or "friends" who are users who treat you like crap. Which option would you prefer?

    If I had that choice, I would pick user friends who I will con and use myself. I can be sneaky enough to avoid being used, but use those people myself. If I can't be friends with them, might as well use them and make a buck.

    Like you said - they are assholes. Such people deserve to be used for your own personal gain.
    An eye for two, a tooth for three...
