...slowly or quickly?

By slowly I mean, e.g. on a disease, like you know when approximately youre gonna die and you can prepare for it.

By quickly I mean unexpectably, e.g. car crash,..

    Slowly, that way I still have time to say bye to everyone and for myself to accept my death. Dying out of no where seems horrible.

    Slowly, I want to know what's happening and feel it happen. I want to feel every synapse in my brain simultaneously shut down and die as they release every neurotransmitter they have stored.

    It would depend on the disease. My mother just got old and we knew it was coming. She was 98 and 11 months old.
    She still had her wits and humor. Not a bad way to go.
