Let’s say you can have your pick of a person to be in relationship with out of these two options. They’ll have sex with you if you want to ,be your Gf/bf, & you are forced to live with them for a year minimum.

1. Stunningly attractive person tailored perfectly to your taste but has a very dull personality, rarely talks,has no interest in any kind of activity,very few original thoughts or opinions,doesn't laugh almost ever and has little to no empathy.

2. A very ugly looking person but who is perfectly tailored in common interest,makes you laugh a lot, and is highly socially compatable with you

        No, I never see the point none of them contain what I would actually do in such situations. I like to think of myself as a realist

          You can be a realist and still participate in a thought experiments, after all thought experiments can give insight into the real world things like the human condition/nature. it can be a good way to look through the looking glass into psychological abstractions to help you develope a better lense to view reality with. Although this particular one is rather small and perhaps insignificant and it most likely doesn’t matter to you, it can help someone else put another drop in the pond towards the insight they are looking for.

            That was a rather suprising response, all the same though my awnser stats the same. Staying single is always an option unless of course you are held at gun point, even then though tgeres still that 3rd option

    Reality is -

    Ugly people have way less chance of getting into a relationship to begin with. Even if they are "beautiful on the inside", they seldom get a chance to show it. But such "inside beauty" seldom exists.

    Remember -
    Beauty is only skin deep, but if she is ugly it is to the bone.

    If it were some perfect looking person tailored to your own standards, you will be too busy having sex to worry about trivial things like her personality.

      ya you are probably right, I think given enough time their would still be this inevitable empty feeling that would surface, and you wouldn't be completely fulfilled, but the lustful attraction would be hard to not like when you're feeling hot and heavy lol

        what's inspired the question is the fact that I'm in relationship rn that's not too far off from option 1 and I've been contemplating calling it off. and i have another girl i know who is a lot like number 2 except decently just a notch below average in looks. I wish i could combine the two woman lol . what to do..
