For me it is the antagonist mainly because I would be the perfect candidate to annihilate the main heroes and I would conquer the planet while causing harm to the Earth while people run with terror with the other antagonists. Who says crime never pays?
But...
I'd like to hear your comments and choices and why you chose to be that.

Honestly, my 14 year old edgy self would have been all about being the epic antagonist, but now I feel like being a protagonist would just be easier? I like doing good things.
Protagonist, definitely I need to break the stereotype of the "Big Bad Wolf" and show our empathy.

But to be a good sport, I'd like to be the secondary protagonist with anti-hero tendencies who strays from the "righteous path" for that good ol' well intentioned paved road but then comes to their senses at the end to join forces with the failing main protagonist that can't defeat the antagonist alone. Yeah, that tired old cliche, it's always a classic.
Wheres the antihero or antivillan category? My charicters are not strictly good. They are most often neutral on the moral compass. They dont want evil to win for obvious reasons but they wont side with the good side just for them being good.
Not saying that they are puppy killing bastards but they have a odd way of seeing situations and leaving them be. Unless it's a full on genocide they wont step in.
The sad part is lots of people think they're either one of those in their life.
