Why would I have to choose either?

    • Why not? Scared of having an opinion and standing by it?

I'm not interested in being either anorexic or morbidly obese.

        • I don't understand why you took the time to comment here then. This post is very specific and I was hoping that it would attract people willing to discuss it and share interesting input.

Obesity I can handle. I'll slim right up because I eat healthy and I run around and dance a lot. Anorexia is a mental issue though, and it's even more deadly for your body.

Obese people are rarely morbid, the fatties I know are actually quite jolly.

Obese. At least if I'm obese I'm not hungry.

I would love to be (m)anorexic! I would get psychotherapy to be cured, then eat my ass off to get back to a normal weight.

Easy for me I'd much rather be anorexic than fat.

Anorexic all the way. Having been on both sides I plan to stay skinny. (But eat healthy and exercise).

    • What did it do to your body? When you were obese, what was the negative impact? When you were anorexic, were there less negative impacts?

        • No, I just thought the topic would be interesting and wanted to get more in depth answers from the people who actually want to participate in the discussion :)

Anorexic. Its easier to gain weight than lose it.

    • It's the scariest thing for an anorexic to gain weight. So scary that most of them end up starving themselves even more and end up dying.
An obese person would be happy if he lost some weight.

So i'd say it would be easier to be obese and lose weight and get healthy than what it is to be anorexic trying to gain weight

why would it be scary for a anorexic person to gain weight?

        • Because anorexia is primarily a mental illness. To an anorexic person they already look fat to themselves even at severe anorexic state. So just think how volatile things can get if an anorexic person gains just 1kg

I feel like you made this just to tell everyone who disagrees with your opinion that they are wrong
