I have always thought that been famous has its pros and cons but at the end I think I wouldn't want to be famous, you have very little privacy. I just would rather be a millionaire living it up in some Caribbean island, what about you???

That is soooo fucking true. When people know you have money, they won't leave you alone until they've taken all of it or seduced you into spending all of it.
While its true that people will try to take your money once they know you have it. But that doesnt mean you need to be stupid with it and give it to them.
Only an idiot would want to be rich and famous. But you can bet if I won the lottery I would absolutely claim the prize anonymously.
I'd just take the money. I don't want the stupid media flocking to me everytime I go somewhere.
Just a few mil would be enough for me,as long a s people leave me the fuck alone and don't bother me for shit.After I drop dead, my sister can have it all and deal with it herself.
If anyone wants to be rich, have a full head of hair, a good body or else a family they want it for one reason alone: Happiness/Self-Interest.
The need for happiness is a good one but most people don't realize that it's an internal quality, not one began with external circumstances.
Sooooo I'd rather be neither and just work towards fujfilling my purpose in life.
Rich and famous. You can do good with your riches, but you can do even more good if you have fame as well.

define rich? I ask because I could live nicely with $1-5 million....put it in the back and live off reasonably and modestly off the interest....less than a million you can't do much with nowadays....more than $5 million is just excessive and asking for all sorts of problems...
I have enough money to satisfy my needs, so I value my privacy.
I don't do the lottery as I couldn't cope with all the false friends I would acquire.
Funnily enough, I saw Oprah the other day and research said that anyone who earns £75,000 a year is just as happy as a multi-millionaire. They have a house, a car, enough to eat, and even holidays. What more could you need?
If you are that rich you can make yourself famous. But I'd rather be rich.

I don't know. The fame does come at a cost, like you said, no privacy or anything. If you fart, its in the tabloids. But, I think I could do just fine as one of the quieter famous people that tend to slip under the radar. The money, yes please. I would like to be able to help out certain people that deserve it. So, I suppose I could deal with both. If not, burn the money and kill myself :p
