Would you rather be attractive or amiable?

Would you rather be so physically attractive that a lot of people wanted to sleep with you, but were disappointed when they got to know you better, or average looking but when people got to know you at a deep personal level (months of really knowing each other, etc.) they wanted to sleep with you? And why?

My thoughts are that if you were physically attractive but didn't have a good personality you would have more sex with different people with not so good relationships. If you are just average looking but have an awesome personality then you would have more fulfilling relationships with great sex with a lot less sex with different people. What do you think?

    I think if it was all about having sex which is what this seems to be based upon, then having the personality would get you more sex if you got in to a relationship...However, being more physically appealing would make you more likely to find a relationship.

    Im pretty and amiable and its not gotten me far in life. I lack confidence and motivation.

    I think I'm good looking and have great personality, but I still don't understand how sex and relationships work.
    Looks and personality do nothing for that when you cannot relate to others.

      My usage of the word personality in this context was meant to necessarily refer to the kind of personality that did have you relate well to others. Perhaps not the typical usage, I could not think of a better word/phrase.

    well as a guy that really never was "that" cute, I like to think anyone that likes me is for my "winning" personality..

    or at least cause im tall, Chick dig tall guys right?

    Since I've never been particularly physically attractive nor have I been graced with a winning personality, those girls that I have been close enough with to become lovers, must have seen something in me I do not see in myself. In my youth, I would have wanted the good looks, but as I aged the other would probably have served me better.
