Would you put a piece of trash in someone else's trash bin?
Like say you were walking down a residential street and there were bins out for pick up day.

Yes they are so sexy! You shouldn't need a 20 year old to tell you that, surly you have used one before.
Can I ask you an honest question *& not having a go at you)? But do you talk to people in regular life like this, or is it just a isitnormal thing (because you feel like you can be more open about sex stuff here)?
Yes questions are welcomed by people I like, which includes you!
The answer is yes and no. I don't talk about my sexual preferences or sex life hardly with anyone in real life. Literally 3 people in this world besides people I have had sex with know I have even had sex. But I do talk about sex in general quite a bit, make a lot of sex jokes ect, its just the personal aspect that I save for iin. But some of my college comrades ans friends from the gym do still get the "obsessed with sex" perception of me even tho I rarely tell them about me personally because I don't wanna weird them out honestly. I know they don't wanna know.
I would do it. And wouldn't mind if someone put something in my garbage. I mean I'd rather see it in my garbage can rather than it being thrown on the street.
I wouldn't do it but don't mind if someone else does it with my bin, unless they muck up the recyclables and non-recyclables, that makes me really mad
Be careful with this one.
See the votes, how 80% of people are ok with it, but 20% see it as rude... Most of us view it this way, at least you aren't throwing it on the floor.
Others might think you're lazy because you aren't waiting to bin it at a public bin, or that you're binning something you shouldn't be, also some people just don't like other people touching their things.
If it's a lot of rubbish, and not just one or two things, NO, it is rude.
Edit: Also, they might not want you looking in their bin.
Sometimes there are Tim Horton's cups or beer cans in my recycling box when I take it back to the house after work (after trash & recycling has been collected). Doesn't bother me. Sooo...I don't know, maybe?
Edit your post to include an "It depends" option.
I wouldn't, because some of my neighbors are psychopaths and might threaten to call the cops, sue me, or kick my ass for touching their property. I live in a town with remnants of a once thriving white trash culture.
Only ever non-gross garbage, like an empty coffee cup maybe. I've been tempted to throw my dog-doodle bags in someone's bin when I'm walking the dog, so I don't have to carry them (they are so fucking gross! All warm...ugh), but I'd feel bad if shit got smeared in some stranger's bin because of me...so i don't do it.
Its totally fine in most cases, unless your dumping bodies or some shit.
