Couture is often extremely expensive. It is so expensive that I often wonder how people are able to afford these items as well as why would they even want to pay so much for an article of clothing. If you could, would you pay for couture clothing? Would the price not bother you?

when I look at that word I just read it as a French man trying to pronounce culture
Maybe for my hoes... I only wear the finest crafted coats and capes made from the skins of my opponents.
I just don't see the appeal of couture clothing. If I had a lot of money, I wouldn't put it into buying expensive clothing, I'd put it into paying off my large hospital bills that the bill collectors are harassing me over.
I just bought a new suit for just shy of £700, I'll probably wear it about twice. Is it worth it to me, most definitely.
couture is rather impractical, if you ask me, i couldn't wear something gaudy and uncomfortable, not to mention expensive.
then again, I'm a guy, and a nerd, so I'm not one who really cares about being fashionable anyways.

I have not worn even a tie, let alone a suit, since Christmas dinner 1968. Absolutely the only thing I can think of that would get me in any kind of formal wear would be when I escort my wife through the doors into the Casino in Monte Carlo, and that would be the bare minimum in formal wear.
Isn't couture just the making of normal clothes? It's the haute stuff that is high fashion or super needlework.
