But if my husband was that curious I'd let him try. Although I know he's not so it really isn't an issue.

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you're not a woman. Cos ... as a woman I know just how uncomfortable it is to pull out a tampon from a dry vaginal canal.
I mean inserting it when I'm dry isn't much fun either, but usually that's in preparation for my flow. But sometimes it has to come out early for whatever reasons and... yeah, it's just not very comfortable.
I feel like just yes would have been a nice option? I couldn't care less. It's just a tampon, and I have to do it once a month, if it gets him giddy then by all means lol
I have tried it on my ex, while she was on her period. Not something I am trying to do every month, but something that I found interesting. I am not easily grossed out by things like this.

My wife let me change her tampon and pads whenever she's on her period. I used to hate her periods, but now I love them :-)
