Would you get a tattoo of your partner's name?

Probably the most idiotic thing anyone can do. The only case where i can find this suitable is if your lover dies.

Can you imagine a bunch of tat names with lines running through them cause the relationship was over!?! Ha! I don't like tats anyway.

No cause all my ex partners names (all one night stands, not proud bragging or even ashamed) but it is what it is! would not fit on me (tattoos)+ I am terrified of pain. xx

You could always get the name crossed out and put SHIT HAPPENS under it

i saw this girl at the mall who had her S/O's name tattooed on her not once, but THREE times! neck, chest, and wrist....ridiculous. she looks about no older than 21 :(

Errr, well I tattooed my fiance's name on my thigh, its less than 6 inches, and he has my name on his arm that covers his whole bicep. I know people say that its stupid but I think of the body as a blank canvas and regardless if him and I broke up, I would keep it there because he was such a huge part of my life. No need to associate the name with hard feelings. But we're still going strong :)

it would be much better to get something that reminds you of that person. much easier to come up with a story of a dragon ball z character and why you have that, than explaining why you have "ANDREW" or "THOMAS" on your arms.

My ex had my name tattooed on her back as a gift before our wedding , I didn't get her name tattooed , I was ok with doing it , just not right away. Anyways she called off the wedding out of no where , I hate her more than you can imagine... But the idiot is still stuck with my name , her bestfriend said she got it removed and it cost her alot , regardless the scar stays...

Thinking back I laugh how stupid she was for doing it , you don't want to be in her place so just don't do it.

I'm not the kind of person to say that someone is stupid or an idiot or out of there mind for tattooing a lover's name on their body. If that's what they want to do, than that's what they're going to do. But personally, I would not. Mainly because I'm indecisive and believe relationships never last forever.

Unfortunately the future is never clear... you may be in love for all eternity but if that person turns into a drug addict and hurts your children or something... nothing is certain. You never know how things are truely going to turn out no matter how sure in the present you are. So no. Even if just the person you love passes away and you fall in love with someone else... not sure how that would go down unless their name was the same!

Never get a significant others name tattooed on you! You just might end up regretting it further down the line.
