Would you feel nervous driving in new zealand?

In New Zealand we drive on the left side of the road.

The drivers seat is the front right seat. The blinker is on the right side of the wheel and wipers are on the left side of the wheel. Wipers and blinkers are the other way around on European cars though. You push the blinker stalk up to turn on the left blinker and down to turn on the right blinker. You also change gear with your left hand. :) :) :)

I would feel nervous. 13
I would feel neutral about it. 5
I would not feel at all nervous. Does not worry me. 11

it were traditional to ride a horse on the left sidea the road in merry ole england so if yall met someone in goin the other way yall could swing a sword at em with yalls right hand

they also made spiral staircases counterclockwise from the top so yall could swing a sword and defend em from the top with yalls right hand

Because Americans changed the rule that had been in place at least since the Roman Empire.

But for practical reasons, so fair enough.

Yep. That there French navy did a thinger two to the Britsh Fleet at Yorktown. Since them Limeys got them thumbscrew cranked down on 'em, theys probably fraid to change thems shifting spanners (crescent wrenches).

I never ever did say it was bloody well normal for people that come from countries like the USA etc. However, for many countries it is bloody well normal to drive on the left side of the road. Simple question! Requires a simple answer smh… Some people are more bothered about it than others. ffs.

It's more the roundabout with a train line going through it and the several kilometre long one lane bridge that services cars AND trains both ways that concern and bewilder me.

I wouldn't feel nervous about the different controls. I'd feel nervous about getting lost since I tend to get lost easily and I've never been to New Zealand.

I always wondered about the foot pedals but never bothered looking it up. Do you use your left foot for the clutch and brakes, and the right to accelerate or is it the other way around like everything else?

In New Zealand the left foot works the clutch only. The brake pedal is in the middle and the accelerator is on the right and we use our right pedal to operate both the break and the accelerator.

Wrong side of the road, tinier lanes, and I'm driving a stick? Jesus take the wheel.

It depends where you drive in New Zealand how big or small the lanes are. As in any country they are smaller on less roads that have to carry most of the traffic than the main roads. Nah, correct side of the road. Steering wheel and all the controls of the car on the right side of the car where they should be. LOL :) :)

Yeah, the USA drives on the wrong side of the road. Only joking. :) Anyway I saw a guy with a right hand drive Toyota MR2 in the USA reversing through the Mc Donalds drive-thru so that he was on the correct side for the person to hand him his food.
