Would you ever give out your name on the internet?

Most people post a stupid amount of identifying information & locations on their social media accounts, which is making internet anonymity a thing of the past.

I have given my name out to specific people before. Probably wouldn't post it on an open forum though. Anyways, i've yet to be murdered!

I have done. Not my full name, publically. That would be stupid.

Does it matter chances are that if someone talented wanted to know who you are they could figure it out.

Then there is the government they have everything on record just using the Internet is leaving a massive foot print.

I gave somebody my gamertag once, forgot my full name was on my profile.

If someone had the intent and dedication they could find me, heck just using my Xbox 0rofile name on Google search could eventually woth a little digging lead to all my info expect uno social security number and all that.

Only on Twitter. I used to have a Facebook but I deleted it because I never used it.

I did mention my first name in past posts, but that was because back then everyone kind of knew each other here.

I made a few YTB comments with my real name, but I soon changed it.

I voted no. Giving out my name online is not something I want to do.

It really doesn't matter unless someone has a real unique name.

Like if someone was named John or Jennifer Smith, there are probably 5 of them living on every street in America.

But Suppose Ambisha Achtzerliek posted her name on the web and someone found her house, what are they gonna do? knock on the door and ask for a date?

Only gave it to one person. A few years ago I had this friend/pen pal from Croatia.

We used to Skype quite a lot. She was fun, kinda miss her.
