  • As a male, I do.

    I think the system is too corrupt against men for me to consider sharing custody with someone, because by doing so I make it very easy to have my child taken from me, only to be used as a piggy bank, simply for not being the mother, as if being the father is less important than being a mother.

    TBH I think some things would be easier if I were. But then again, my boyfriend knows how to maintain composure when I do not. Our daughter locked herself in the bathroom once with the bath water running and I freaked out and said words I don't remember saying. My boyfriend stayed calm and got her to come out. It's good that we are both there so that one of us can rise to the occasion when the other cannot.
