Yes, simply because if I were hypothetically allosexual and exclusively attracted to men, I could not change my sexuality to be attracted to a woman. I would want to be with a man who identifies as and has the appearance of a man.

With many issues it may take months or years of research and counseling to actually find out the real why behind the request.

Then, you decide if the other partner's why is acceptable for you. If so, you stay with them. If not, you leave.

There is nothing magical about the process... and the results are never preordained.

I'm honestly not sure, because i've only been attracted to men, and I couldn't see myself being with another woman. I also don't have a lot of experience with relationships so it's hard to tell how i'd react.
