Would you date someone who had dated your cousin?

I'm facing somewhat of a dilemma right now. I met a guy online and we get along nicely, but haven't met in person yet. Anyway, he turns out he dated my cousin a few years ago. Now, while my cousin and I aren't close, we do live in the same city and see each other a couple of times a year for big family events such as weddings, christenings etc. my parents and my cousins parents are pretty close though and see each other once a fortnight.

Would you ever date someone who had previously dated your cousin or relative?

    I wouldn't, but for a different reason. I don't want to be compared to someone I meet several times a year. I would feel pretty awkward for a while.

    Yes, and I will tell you why. You owe no one anything, just because it doesn't work out with someone else that you know, even if it's Family doesn't mean it won't work out for you.

    Because you should know no one else will do the same for you, or so it seems how it goes in life. (speaking of personal experience) Having morals is okay but too many and you won't have much of a life because most people don't have many morals if any at all. Doesn't make them bad though, they are just people who know what they want as much as people who do have morals.

    You're not betraying your cousin if you two get together, and if she makes it out to be that way then forget her, just because she is your cousin doesn't make her family for your inner circle. We can choose family. It's not about blood, it's about who you let in to your heart and they you. So don't feel bad if you both decide to take it a step further. You don't owe your cousin anything. People who let other people they know get in a relationship and doesn't work out but it works perfectly for them but decide it's wrong and miss the chance of possibly being with "The One".
