I collect anime figures and video game stuff, and I didn't think it was a big deal. I've seen a lot of people who were pretty much given ultimatum by their partner to get rid of their stuff. I get some people may not get it or think its weird, but it's still just a harmless hobby. What's the big deal?

I can't see why anyone would have a problem with this and personally I wouldn't stay involved with anyone who gave me ultimatums to change something so harmless
Yeah, unless it was some kind of life ruining addiction or obsession. Honestly, that'd make it easier to buy presents for them.

I actually admire collectors. I really want to be a collector myself, but I tend to lose interest in things very quickly. But I enjoy watching shows like "My Crazy Obsession", so I'd probably be very fascinated with someone who was super passionate about something.
I honestly would date someone who collects stuff. I have a manga collection that I have no intention of getting rid of. Anyone that does give ultimatums over a collection isn't worth being around.
I still have my Breyer horse collection! So I wouldn't have an issue dating someone who had a collection of their own.
