  • ...I don't get why it would matter. Even I, someone that isn't a relationship type person, thinks that it would be a stupid excuse not to be with someone.

I don't see why it would matter at all.

The point is that son might be more prone to suicide himself. I don't think that's necessarily true, though.

we all have had tough things happen in our lives. why should that stop two people from being together? if you ask me things like that probably bring people even closer, that way they know they always have each other for whatever happens.

    Other:

why the hell would you base your dating pattern off whether or not a parent killed themselves?

That's what the surviving family members need - someone being judgmental about it.

If someone turns you down because one of your parents took his/her life ... that person will be worthless as a partner anyway. You deserve better than someone who's that self-centered.

Why would that bother? Something like that souldn't matter cuz a person doesn't date the parents right?

Haha NO WAY that's gross. WTF kind of question is this? Why would you even consider this a deal breaker? Did he drive his dad to suicide? Then maybe I might be a bit concerned. Otherwise it's pretty irrelevant.

It has nothing to do with being in a relationship or loving someone.
