Would you break the conditions of a punishment if it was unfair?

Say you were being punished for something you didn't think was that bad, would you break the rules of the punishment? for example, as a teenager your parents ground you for having a little bit of alcohol at a party. You think this is unreasonable, what do you do? or you are blamed for something a coworker did and are given all the crappy jobs for the next month, you dont think this is fair, what do you do?

I would break the conditions of the punishment (e.g. sneak out) 19
Even if I didn't agree with it I would respect my superiors decision 12
I would argue as much as possible to get out of it 13
I would do everything bad within the punishment rules just to annoy 9

i'd have an adult conversation with whoever is in charge because I am an adult who is greater than or equal to all others, but if she was being a D-bag I would freeze my pee in a plastic bag so its flat then slip it under her door when I knew she was away and wait for it to melt.

How many people in jail think their punishment is fair? I wouldn't encourage them to ignore their sentences.

Also, breaking the punishment a parent gives makes them realise you're not mature enough to make your own decisions yet and they still need to punish you to prepare you for the world. Much smarter to take your punishment and then, when you've proved you're responsible, go out on a spree of devilry that they never find out about. :)

I think there's a difference between your mom punishing you and your boss.

For the people who would sneak out: You may not have a reason for being punished at the time, but if you sneak out you sure as hell will have a reason then.

I personally, tend to be a rule follower, so yes I would adhere to the administered punishment even if I didnt think it was justified. NOT adhering to it could also lead to ANOTHER punishment...let's just get the original over with before adding on more of them!

Whenever I got grounded as a teenager (which was every summer ALL summer long) I would sneak out at night to see my gf at the time and my friends. I don't like being told I can't do something for stupid reasons. I got caught a few times but did it again and again. Eventually my mom figured she couldn't hold me and ended up ungrounding me.

If you feel bad about it then you obviously did something wrong.

well the point is that you don't think its wrong and you don't feel bad about. By the way to anyone who thinks that the examples were something that happened to me, they aren't. In fact I've never been punished unfairly I just thought it would be easier to understand the question if there were examples.
