Would you abandon a friend who unintentionally embarrasses you often?

Let's say you have a friend named Sylvia, the most compassionate, honest, loyal friend you can ever hope for, but the thing about her is that she embarrasses you often but unintentionally.

Some things that she does to embarrass you are things like smelling her feet next to you in public and asking you to trade shoes with her while people are watching, or spilling hot coffee on you and her trying to pull your shirt off to dry you with people around.

Would you abandon a friend like this if this kind of thing happens often?

    Nope. She seems fun and does not give a shit what people think about her. It would be a different story if she complained about the repercussions of her antics. I can't stand being around sour people.

    Eh I'd say something from the get-go, so if she kept on doing it then it's not exactly unintentional....if she didn't quit after she knew no to fuck with me in any sorta way then she can go piss up a rope.

    Some people do this shit under the guise that it's unintentional and it's really not, so I'd detect that shit and put her in her place quick.

    I'm a guy and all those things really don't sound that bad. Any girl that goes against social norms is one that I wouldn't abandon.

    If a person is sweet and compassionate I would expect them to understand if I tell them they're embarrassing me. Also I don't think I'd be open to trading shoes for fear of fungus but the smelling her feet thing would be funny if she's pretty. But I'm not cool with someone trying to take my shirt off.

    If she was such a loyal and awesome friend, would she not listen if you told her not to do those things?

    I'm going to start sounding like SoccerStud now, but is she hot? I would be less embarrassed to be seen with her if she was. I don't know if it would affect the actual outcome of the abandoning or not, probably not, but it might make a difference.

    Considering that I am an embarrassing friend, and the rest of my friends are as well, I'd be a fool to ditch an embarrassing friend, or I'd be ditching almost all of my friends.

        Your friend sounds goofy. I have been left just for not being a certien race so I would say no on this. Just because I know how this feels. Dont abandon your friend. Tell them to behave in public or public company though. If they dont understand how to act in public explain to them what they cant and can do.
