Would u be offended if the opposite sex called u their brother/sister?

Assume that you have no romantic feelings for them. Also being called a brother/sister is not the same as being called "whaddup bro/sis."

I would PREFER if my guy friends had said that to me actually. But if I had feelings for them I'd get really sad.

Sadly it doesn't seem like guys can even be friends with girls they aren't attracted to ... at least I haven't seen that as frequent as I'd wish to.

    • They can be. There are a bunch of friends I'd like to call "sisters" but dont cause I'm sure they would get offended

I wouldn't? Not if my friends told me they viewed me as a sibling. Thats a pretty huge complimemnt isnt it?

If you have feelings for them and say that to you, it is like the kiss of death. No one wants to hear that.

Otherwise, I would care if I knew them well. If a stranger referred to me as such, I would have to wonder why.

No, of course not. Just because I happen to be attracted to someone does not mean they're obligated to feel the same way towards me. There's nothing wrong with being friendzoned as far as I'm concerned.
