Would this be taken as derogatory or supportive?

Would this be insulting. On Halloween or any night where its ok to dress up. Wear a white coloured shirt, rainbow suspenders, black jeans, black shoes and black jeans and paint your hair like a rainbow while running around in assorted glow lite and a giant rainbow flag to spread gay awareness be offensive or good? Costume would be "Refractive lite".

Why is it you feel the need to "spread gay awareness"? Awareness of all gays (some who might not appreciate your spreading) or just of your gayness?
No more would I walk down your street spreading my thoughts and opinions, would I want you to do the same.
The costume sounded pretty cool until you got all political about it. Dress as you wish, by what is to be gained by pushing your thoughts and ideas on others?
I couldn't give a crap if you are gay or not, but I really don't care to know your sexual preference, either. It's your business, not mine!

Why would you need to wear to wear two pairs of black jeans?

Halloween is for kids, and allows closet trannies to experiment in public. Save the political sh't for another day.

I think everybody is aware of gayness. I do not get the awareness campaign phenomena in general, but I think you are just doing a gay clown bit.
