Would this be a good idea for is it normal polls?

What if you could allow people to choose more than one poll choice. It would be an 'allow more than one selection' option that you could enable when you submit your poll.

Sound useful? Yes or no?

    I agree, OP.

    Sure it might be open to abuse, but so are private messages and profile pictures and comments and the chat and the whole damn website :P "Someone might abuse it" isn't a reason not to have a useful feature.

    yes, the OP could pick to be able to choose more than 1 option, how many options maximum and minimum and figure out a way to incorporate that into the results.
