Would punk rock be considered butch or its own style?

Hot girl wearing said style = punk

Ugly girl wearing said style = butch

I enjoy dressing in punk rocker fashion :) It's just fun to dress up and look different from the crowd! Not to mention I enjoy the music even more.

I know girls who dress in a punk style or a rocker style that look feminine, and girls who dress in that style and look butch. It really depends how you do it and what *you* look like. I'd say butch is just a description, and a girl can look masculine no matter what she wears.

I think it's really about how you feel about it relative to yourself. if you're dressing in a punk style and you identify as butch, then it's butch because it's your personal style - but it doesn't have to be, if you don't identify that way. your style and perception of said style/perception of self are entirely your own! :)

I don't see the connection. I'm not attracted to butch (manly) girls, but I really like hot punk rock girls and other eccentric styles.
