Before I turned 17 people told me that I beautiful curly/wavy hair but at that time I was too blind to realize that I had beautiful wavy hair so I used the hair straightner to straight/curl my hair pretty much every day!!! and now my hair is damaged and permanently straightned and there's nothing I can do about it :'( I want my natural hair back and I have no idea what I can do to bring it back :( straight hair is SOO BORING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Do what I did: cut it short, and let it grow out again without using damaging products.

    Heat styling does damage hair, but I doubt this is permanent. I'd get a trim and stop using heat on it and look after your hair then it should be naturally wavy/curly again.
    I had lovely long wavy locks, I cut it all off, and it went as straight as ever I hated it, but im growing it again and the curls are coming back :).

    Unless you "used the straightner to straight/curl" on your genes, I kinda doubt that you've changed your hair very much. Best thing to do would be to shave it all off and let it grow out again, then everything should be fine.

    Ugh..I always thought straight hair is so boring. Yes, cut it short, your beautiful natural wavy hair will return in no time.

    It's probably going to come back unless you curled your skull or are suffering from baldness.
