Would going to the er make me have to quit?

I got a job and not had it that long. However I have an ingrown toenail which is cutting off circulation to my toe. Its my big toe. I have ingrown toenail on my other foot, however that one grew back in abnormally instead of becoming ingrown. Which is fine since I just leave it. I watched ER video and it says healing takes 3 weeks. I dont have 3 weeks to take off of work. So what should I do about this? Is it really impossible to fix a toe nail so someone can go to work in the next 3 days? Its not swollen I just cant feel my toe at all since the toe nail has seem to cut off blood flow to that area of my toe

    If you do nothing your toe will likely need amputating. How long do you suppose you'll have to take off for that?

    Unless you're a foot model, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to work within 3 days.
    You might not be 100%, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Unless I'm underestimating the severity, you definitely won't be incapacitated afterwards.

    Fix the nail and take of as much time as you can and then otherwise just be very careful. You can heal slower if it means keeping the job right?

      I just need to be able to put on my boots. Since I work Warehouse and it required closed toe shoes.

        Pull the nail out before it gets infected. Sounds like it will be painful right? Well it will be. Man up and do what you gotta do. I've been doing it for years, you don't need to see a doctor, if it gets infected you WILL need to see a doctor and you will definitely miss work.

          Its too deep to take out and I dont have a lot of spare time anymore. I AM WORKING. Warehouse has long shifts.
