I've been thinking about tattooing "The bird of Hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame" when I get older because I really like it. But I'm not sure where should I put it.

    Get whatever you want tatted, just make sure it's something you won't regret getting.

    I like that too: good choice. :)

    Where you put it: that would depend on if you want others to see it and if you'd want to be able to read it without looking in a mirror to see it. I think anywhere would be fine, but definitely discuss with your tattoo artist, a font style that will stand the test of time on your skin.

    Do you think you'll ever add an illustrated interpretation of the scroll to your (potential) tattoo?

      Honestly I have no idea I just liked this for like 2 years but I'm still too young to have a tattoo so I'll see later I just wanted to know what other people think ^^

        I do really like the idea of an illustration of the concept, that would be awesome and a good conversation starter when people ask you what it means. :)

        I think it's good to sit on tattoo ideas for a while before you get them. If you still want it a few years later, it's probably important enough for you to get it.
