Worried about my cousin

I am very worried for my cousin. Let's call her Katie. She is the duaghter of my mothers twin brother, my first cousin. I care about her alot and am also worried. She is very beautiful and thin. I was told that one time, for about a week, she became belimic. I know that sounds starnge, but she stopped because she was scared, I was glad. Bulimia is very scary. She is only 14 and has a crooked spine. She used to be great at guymnastics and she was at a provincial level, but she had to drop out for medical reasons. She is still very fit and flexible, though. I sometimes wonder how she stays that way. All her friends, including me(yes, I would say we're friends) are really worried, she's always getting sick and is showing one sign of anorexia. NOT EATING!! I want to check her hands out for scars badly now! I am really worried and she's usually open about anything, but latley she is very quiet about her medical condition. I'm scared there's something worng that she's not telling me about...

Talking to elders is good but i would first talk to her so she is warned and not freak out to the point where she does something stupid.

Maybe it's best to talk to her parents. When they sit her down, they can check. Do whats right for her, if you really care about "Katie" you'll do it.

Have her talk with a family member/friend she respects. Advice from a loved one is nice and warm, but you really take it to heart when somebody you look up to tells you something. Oh, and show her a few photos of what anorexic and bulemic people look like. Gross teeth, raw throats, rib cages sticking out, stick legs. Sounds hot to me...
