I want someone who will accept my quirks. Who will respect me, understand me, and show that he loves me with the little things he does.

I want a guy who is kind, respectful, and trustworthy. I guess for me the biggest thing though is that I can be comfortable with a guy, in ever sense of the word. I know what I can expect from him, and he's a soft place to fall when the world gets to be too much.

If someone can make me laugh and carry on an intelligent conversation, you're gold. Obviously looks and money are nice but I don't focus on that when I'm interested in a guy.

I think creativity would fall under personality wouldn't it?

I'd like for a girl to explain to me what it means when you say personality. Seems more like such an all-round generic term that really means nothing more than he shouldn't be an asshole.

      I agree!

I've heard many women say "I want a guy with a great personality." The same women who go home with big, beefy, loud-mouthed, goofs that never grew out of their frat-boy phase, treat their women like slabs of meat (ones that they share), and have an IQ of 12.

Furthermore, I'm close friends with a lot of women - and I can't tell you how many times I've heard the phrase, "Yeah... but he's SO nice..." as if it's a BAD thing. Like "Yeah, I would want to date this guy, but he's so nice and such a gentleman, so I'm just not attracted to him." WTF?!

I also have a hunch that a man's credit limit greatly impacts how their personality is perceived by women...

Looks like I've opened a can of worms. I didn't mean to trigger a nice guy vs bad boy flame war lol.

I do hold the very strong belief that women just go for good looks, like us men. Nothing wrong since we men do it too but I hate how women hide the fact with wishy washy excuses. Women are just as visual as men, period. Beautiful people date each other but some ugly dudes can compensate with a big wallet.

I'm glad to see so many choosing "Personality."

The problem is, I don't believe these results! I live in Los Angeles - and let me tell you about LA girls.... personality means nothing. Haha

Personality is heavily beating out looks, this poll is a failure.

Oh, okay. I totally understand now. So, I am a person who doesn't want a disabled person (I feel so guilty for saying that).

The best guy for me would probably have to look good, smell nice, and love me wholeheartedly. Plus, who wants a guy that can't walk, or something like that?! (he would also have to be somewhat strong.)

Well that's nice to know that you think people with disabilities preventing them from being able to walk also are undeserving of love.

          Your words, not mine.
