Ladies, and gentlemen, please enlighten me.
Why do women feel the need to parade around town wearing shorts that essentially show their butt, or shirts with deep plunge neck lines that show off too much cleavage.
What is the point of showing off your body if you do not want people to look at it.
How does showing your butt or cleavage to other strangers in broad daylight help make you feel good about yourself?

Would this whole conundrum be non existant if we as a society de-sexualized boobs and butts?

I think most people are asking you not to expect sex, or try to touch them, or catcall. Feeling confident and sexy go hand in hand, and some people just like wearing more revealing things.

It's basically accepted as the norm in western society. Look at the 1960s and before that, women were expected to dress and behave modestly. They still are in many parts of the world. Now in America and other places, no one cares because feminism makes women believe they can act however they want and give off any impression in public without having to think about consequences or how they are being judged. Women feel entitled to do as they please and any opinion contradicting that is immediately seen as a restriction of their personal freedoms and a voice of oppression. I'm all for individuality and self expression but there has to be a point where a woman can realize that she is making herself appear cheap and undignified.

I'm a girlie with a 36DD chest and a pretty round badonkadonk. I can tell you that it is a lot harder to find well fitting clothes than you might think. Especially when you have a small waist! That being said I don't really mind other people looking. It's a huge compliment.

  I guess the more modest people have a larger body? I live close to the dells in Wisconsin and i can say that people are obese or super skinny with their ass hanging out. It’s one of thise stereotypical american towns.

        lol sorry if it came of that way. My sister is absolutely stunning. She also has an amazing body; she use to be a swimsuit model. My sister is also very modest when she dresses. She doesn't do her hair (she puts it in a messy bun) or make up. Even in her sweat pants, raggedy old t-shirt, no make up on, and a messy bun she is still one of the most gorgeous girls I've ever seen. Why? Because she has natural beauty and she doesn't need to show off her body for you to see that. Modest girls are not ugly!
        What I was trying to say is that when you have an hourglass figure, no matter what you wear will be "inappropriate" because everything is either falling out or smushed.
        As for the women who are really skinny and show the bums, maybe they have to wear a size so small that they shop at the kids department. The kids shorts fit them around the waist but no it length, so they are stuck with mooning everybody.
        The overweight women might also have trouble finding their size because of their boob size and butt size also.

Women who are dumb and weak resort to sexuality to regain power. Unfortunately, this compromise leads to rape and incest. A woman who bears the child of a rapist should be tortured for a decade and then killed by her offspring.
