Women against feminism

Women who are against feminism are basically just saying that they're against women having equal rights to men. Feminism isn't about women having more rights than men it's about equality, look up the fucking definition of feminism people.

No, the feminist movement originally was supposed to be about equality... Until Feminazi's took over. Now they have an agenda and want superiority over men. Most of them are ugly bull-dykes anyways. Fuck em.

Women had gained equality. The Feminist movement was no longer necessary. So they turned it into a fascist group for women who hate men.

I think you missed the part that feminism was not something that's made for men too.. It was historically made for women's rights in terms of getting jobs, having the right to vote, etc. But it doesn't mean it's still the same today as it once was before. Thus you can't really bring a dead back to life if it already has a bad reputation from alot of people..

  • You miss the part that feminism does not own the concept of equality, therefor you can't claim that equality and feminism is the same thing. Feminism "may" be looking for equality how "they" view equality but that does not mean that it is itself the same as the concept of equality.

Dictionary definitions? Like the people's republic of Korea (Or whatever it calls itself)? Definitions can be misleading and not represent the group of people that represent the group.

So to sum it up, people can oppose feminism because they support equality in a way feminism doesn't and view feminism as part of the problem, which you can't deny there have been plenty of cases when they have done wrongs.

I just watched "I shot Andy Warhol" the other day, starring Lili Taylor, who gives a great performance as the radical feminist Valerie Solanas who becomes so paranoid and angry she shoots Warhol.
Her character is so unlikeable but so intense and compelling and unlike any character you've seen on film before.
      recommend.

Yeah he was so vulnerable. It was sad to watch the scene where he gets shot.
Amazing in this world all the people of high ideology and/or revolutionaries always seem to get a bullet.

The clue is in the name. It's not called "equalism".

Or it should just be referred to as "gender egalitarian"

Dictionary defenitions are not reliable when consulting a social movement.

This makes me think about the discussion about communism. In theory it is perfect but in practice it's debatable. I feel the same about feminism. The definition is alright but in practice feminism is about women domination. That's how I feel about feminism.

I want women to dominate the bedroom. Where are the handcuffs?
(Btw, everything Karl Marx said about economics is theoretically wrong.)

Militant feminism is an ugly cause. Sex-positive feminism is truly beautiful.

FYI, not all human beings that believe in the equality between men and women are a feminist

Agreed. I'm all for feminism/equality, however radfems are crazy. I don't hate women who don't identify as feminists, it's a personal choice and I respect it as long as you're not anti-equality. I don't hate all men either; I have a father, brother and male friends. I only hate murderers, rapists, pedos, abusers, etc but both genders have done those things.

No. I think that at one point in history, feminism was necessary but in this day and age women in first world countries have the right to do whatever they choose to do. There is no law keeping a woman from being who she wants to be and making her own choices. Now, if you want to talk about social wise, that would be another thing which I still don't think feminism is necessary for because every body men and women young and adult get unfair treatment from society. It seems to me that the only places that need feminism are third world countries where woman really don't have rights, and I think a lot of feminists were preach about the "unfair" treatment women face everyday here in the western world need to take their protests over their and try to really make a difference.
