Within reason, it's ok to look at people breastfeeding in public
I'm not against breastfeeding in public, but if you say that it's ok to breastfeed in public then you have to say that it's also ok to look at people breastfeeding in public. People have a right to look at anything they want that is outside in public view, we shouldn't ever have to feel obligated to look the other way (of course within reason though, staring at them so that it's completely obvious is extremely disrespectful, continuing to look after they've asked you not to is harrassment). Call me a pervert all you want but if someone doesn't want you looking at them doing something, then they should do it inside in private. It's extremely stressful trying not to look at something for fear of being branded a pervert, knowing that even an accidental glance could make you look like one. I shouldn't have to feel like that in public, and I shouldn't have to sit somewhere else either. You can't expect people to inconvenience themselves in order to give you privacy in a public space, they have as much right to that public space as you.
