This seems to be a contentious, so I want to get to the heart of it :-)

Why would you stand up? It just makes more work and with your pants around your ankles you might loose balance.. plus what if you have a little bit more pee and it drips down? Or EXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA? You better hope you are sitting.
I think this is a great question and something I think about occasionally. There are standers and there are sitters and I guess our choice is informed by our parents' choice. The funny thing is that whichever side of the fence you sit on (or stand on), you imagine that the other side is completely and entirely wrong.
Isn't it strange how 50% of the people can be right and the other 50% of people thinking entirely the opposite can also be right? Something to ponder!
i dont wipe at all, i just wait until i shower. IF i shower that day.

I also think its a worthy question, I mean how many people get to see someone wipe there ass (not that I want to)
I think you have to wipe whatever way works best for wiping till it is clean!
To me the best thin to do is not wipe your ass at all. I saves money not having to buy toilet paper and the smell from you keeps the bugs away from you. Oh, and it makes me feel sexy.
Sitting! using a toilet gives you times to ponder and relax, standing just doesn't do that!

uuh, Who wants to take the time to stand up and wipe their butt when they could just stay sitting. Plus it's more clean if you sit.
